Force the designer.cs file to regenerate asp.net

Has your lost your designer or it has gone corrupt and you can not get it back, I had this problem and after an hour of trying different things found on the net i came up with this.

I created a new page and and named it xxxxa , copied all the code and controls from the corrupt one and saved the page. I then deleted the original page and renamed xxxxa to the old page. There we go working a treat.

If you are dynamically creating the Sqldatasouce using page.controls.add and it fails when reloading  then Try this as a  work around

If IsPostBack = False Then

Me.Page.Controls.Add(SqlDataSourcepicking1)

End If
