Live Ship Tracking


Live ship tracking uses google maps to plot Shipping around the world using the AIS (Automatic Identification System).
Ships can be tracked using the map or by the list of ships in the database clicking on an ships icon will bring up pictures of the vessel and informationn about it. Vessel types can be filtered and registered users can build there own fleets to monitor.
The project will supply AIS recivers to people in areas that are not currently covered covered.
